Established in 1877 and located 75 miles southeast of Tucson, Sierra Vista (Spanish for “Mountain View”) is home to about 45,000 residents. Referred to by bird watching enthusiasts as the “Hummingbird Capital of the US”, watchers flock to the Ramsey Canyon Preserve and other local canyons to observe and photograph hundreds of different bird species.
